Workers' Compensation is an employer paid benefit that provides compensation and medical benefits if you are injured or become ill due to a work-related condition. Under Workers' Compensation law, you will receive help if you are injured. It is our intention to see that you receive prompt, competent medical attention and return to work as quickly as possible.
If you are injured on the job, it is the University's policy to offer you modified work (sometime called light duty) while you are recovering from a work-related illness or injury. Such positions will be temporary in nature and will be monitored by your immediate supervisor.
